Qeshm Sports News & Events Website
The Qeshm Sports News & Events website is a dynamic platform created to cover local sports activities, tournaments, athletes, and community events across Qeshm Island. The goal of this project was to design an engaging, informative, and easy-to-navigate website that brings sports fans closer to the latest updates and helps the community stay connected with ongoing events.
The final design highlights energy, movement, and clarity capturing the spirit of sports while ensuring that users can quickly access news, schedules, live updates, and event details.
Design Process
The design process began by exploring how sports fans interact with news platforms and what information they need most frequently. I focused on creating an experience that feels fast-paced, clear, and accessible, reflecting the excitement of sports and the local pride of Qeshm Island.
Once the user expectations were defined, I began shaping the visual identity. A bold, energetic color palette and strong typography were selected to express movement and enthusiasm. The layout was designed to support quick scanning, as sports users prefer to access scores, match results, and event updates without delay.
Next, I structured the content to ensure that users can easily browse news categories, upcoming events, team profiles, and live coverage. Special attention was given to the homepage and event calendar, ensuring that the most important information is always visible and easy to navigate.
As the design evolved, I refined the interface to maintain visual consistency and readability. Clear hierarchies, engaging visuals, and responsive layouts helped create a platform that works effectively across both desktop and mobile crucial for users who check sports news on the go.
In the final stage, I polished the overall experience by improving image presentation, adjusting spacing, and enhancing micro-interactions. The result is a lively, user-centered sports news website that captures the energy of Qeshm’s sports community.
